Plum Blossoms at Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine 2012

I just love the colours of these plum blossoms.
Some were almost white, but my eye kept catching the 'plummy' ones.
Plum-viewing at Kitano is a yearly event in Kyoto. Inspiring.
We were there in early March 2012.

Our 'ticket' included plum tea and biscuit to enjoy while viewing.
There are many famous and beautiful images and haiku of plum blossoms, but I wrote my own:

KITANO SHRINE 2012
Spring snow dusts the path
Swept away before it melts
Plum blossoms drifting.

The Spectacle

I just wiped some fingerprints off 'my' Panasonic Inverter Dimension 4 microwave oven that can be used as a convection oven and a grill. Of course all I use it for is to heat up drinks even though I paid eight times what a microwave-oven-to-heat-up-drinks costs.

But, not only do I want to think about the reality of this oven; what about those fingerprints. Were they more real than the oven? Because they are gone and the oven is still here?...even though the oven is not what it proclaims to be. (Although it has the potential...)

Maybe I will start with Pana-sonic. Much easier than starting with 'my'.

(Marco, this contemplation is largely your fault.)
